My only regret is starting care late in the game because I would have loved more time with her. She supported me through the end of pregnancy and my birth was a breeze. When I went into labor, she came by several times early in the process, which was very calming to have such a supportive and active midwife. "Let me just start off by saying that I HIGHLY recommend Ciara. I gave birth in July of 2021 but before that, I was a nervous momma for multiple reasons. I searched for support and Ciara showed up and offered just that. Our meeting was put off over false labor a few times so the first time I was able to meet her was literally while I was in to have my son. I was anxious because you know, new person. I can not express how immediately warm and kind she was. My partner and I felt like we’d known her for a while with how easy it was to be around her and chat. Ciara helped and advocated for me multiple times throughout my labor and delivery. She helped me through my intense back labor with her gentle hands she showed my partner how to help me, she gave us space, she took some photos somehow in the midst of helping me because I’d asked and for that I’m so grateful.

My postpartum recovery was an anxious time for me but this beautiful soul went above and beyond when I had hiccups along the way. She stuck by my side in a time that I really needed it. She offered support during my late nights, she heard my words and my goals. Ciara came by for my postpartum visit and did some cleaning for me while wearing my toddler, I mean that is the support a new mom needs if I’ve ever seen it. My kids enjoyed her visit too. I give credit in my success of breastfeeding to Ciara. Between chatting when I needed help and late night visits during mastitis. Mom life can be a bit messy but she reminded me that that’s normal.

Ciara is so encouraging, caring, uplifting, understanding, and just RADIATES good vibes. If you’re on the fence just know that I’d recommend her any day to all of my family, friends, and those seeking doulas out. I wish I’d had her for all of my births."
